The Department of Management supports research and teaching related to understanding the dynamics of organizations from a variety of perspectives. We offer the State of Michigan’s premier undergraduate programs in Human Resource Management and General Management. Our MBA concentrations in Human Resource Management, Leadership and Change Management, and Strategic Management prepare master’s students for tomorrow’s management challenges. Our PhD programs, with specializations in Organizational Behavior, Strategic Management, Human Resource Management, and Organization Theory are ranked among the nation’s finest. Management faculty are widely acknowledged as leaders in research in such areas as employee training and development, team decision making and effectiveness, and strategy formulation and firm performance.

On Thursday, September 17th, we hosted a career fair along with our friends in the Marketing Research department! This annual fall career exploration conference focuses on the growing field of big data analytics, consumer insights and how both are shaping the future of business decision making. Students were able to connect with employers for career opportunities (internships and full-time) and/or used it as a networking opportunity to learn about these exciting fields of work.
